As a special surprise, Jon and Calvin honored us with a small New Clear Lawn Chairs reunion.

It made me cry.

Love your friends. Tell your friends you love them.

Analog Revolution put on a show, with Rat Babies, Piece, and Doctor Deathray. The show is a mishmash of doomy, sludgey, loud metal; grunge tinged, computerized emo, and blistering blues rock. We shot the thing on a camera from the 70s (you can find that video elsewhere on this site) and on several brand new, very nice cameras. This is the output of those very nice cameras, with a proper mix from Violet Hunter (of Doctor Deathray) and direction from Nelson Crawford (of Holders and John Thefruitman and Working Class Music.)

It's one of the best shows we've ever hosted, and among the best looking shows we've ever released. It's something that I am incredibly proud, honored, and privileged to be a part of. So come revel with us in the joy of loud, aggressive, and occasionally sloppy rock and/or roll.

You could do a lot worse with your life.

The Rat Babies set from this show is now available on cassette and CD from Analog Revolution.

We put on a show, with Rat Babies, Piece, and Doctor Deathray. The show is a mishmash of doomy, sludgey, loud metal; grunge tinged emo, and blistering blues rock. We captured the whole thing using a camera from 1974, and we live streamed it here for New Ellijay Television.

What you're watching here is the results of that live stream. Eventually, a much nicer version will get uploaded, with video produced by a camera released in this millennium and Stereo audio. If you want to wait for that, instead of watching this smeary, mono mess, you're welcome to. You're a coward, but you're welcome to be a coward.

The audio clips occasionally, especially during the Rat Babies set. Rat Babies produced one of the loudest performances I've ever heard. We almost certainly made the neighbors angry. This is good.

So come revel with us in the joy of loud, aggressive, and occasionally sloppy rock and/or roll. You could do a lot worse with your Saturday night.

This show was significantly less smooth than our normal outings, and the video and audio quality suffer as a result. We were using unfamiliar, and frankly unsuitable equipment, because sometimes the universe is an agent of Chaos, and we are left to scramble in the wake.

But the performances were fun, and the music is good, and it's punk, so you'll deal.

This is the Lo-Fi Stream, recorded on a pair of analog tube cameras from 50 years ago and a single shotgun mic placed in the middle of the room. If you want a hifi version, with multi channel audio and HD, color video, it'll exist eventually in this same channel, but those things take much longer to produce.

Analog Revolution presents:

• Crosstalk
• The "The New Clear Lawn Chairs" Orchestra
• and Hurly Burly and the Volcanic Fallout

live in concert at the Gilmer Arts playhouse.

This is the one year Anniversary show for the Ellijay Makerspace and I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate all we accomplished in our first year. Hurly Burly has been with Analog Revolution from the very first day, and The New Clear Lawn Chairs were featured in the second issue of our magazine. This was the first time I can remember seeing Crosstalk live, but frontwoman Helena has been a part of many of the things that led to the creation of the Ellijay Makerspace over the last ten years.

The show is full of surprises and heart and it made me cry. These are bands that have been performing, in one incarnation or another, for a decade or more, at least two of the bands were founded when their members were in high school. That was a long time ago, but it was really wonderful to be able to get them all back together, in the same room, to shout and share and destroy a giant volcano.

Look for a split LP from HBATVF and TNCLC out in March from Analog Revolution.

Bands:
Connor Dylan
Ito Clash
Noah Estrella

Notes :
This one is still rough around the edges. They probably always will be. That's fine, it's DIY Media and that's what it's all about.

It's fine, the concert audio sounds Wonderful, and we had a great time.

Episode four shoots on Friday June 24th. We'll see you then.

Bands:
Red Hot Empty
Lil' Heart Eyes
Hassleinone

Notes :
This one is also rough around the edges. They probably always will be. That's fine, it's DIY Media and that's what it's all about.

We lost the audio from the first part of the Hassleinone interview, and our backup source was too lo-fi to be usable, so we had to cut it. There are also a few shots that are real weird or bad due to some technical problems. It's fine, the concert audio sounds Wonderful, and we had a great time.

Episode 3 should be up any day now, and episode four shoots on Friday June 24th. We'll see you then.

Bands:
Doctor Deathray
Spirits Republic
Rae and the Ragdolls

Notes :
This one is rough around the edges. It probably always will be. That's fine, it's DIY Media and that's what it's all about.

We lost the audio from the opening monologue, so we had to use a safety backup which sounds worse. We're also missing some footage of Doctor Deathray's entrance due to some technical problems. It's fine, the concert audio sounds Wonderful, and we had a great time.

There were many technical problems! But the end result was called "watchable". So here are some highlights from that (this is what's left after you remove the bits that were marred by technical problems.)

The plan is to do a live stream for each of our upcoming shows. This will become a regular part of NE TV.
